Reliability of system operation is critical to the successful implementation of automated parking systems. Redundancies in operating mechanisms and sensor and detection systems help to guarantee reliable operation. The result is a high-performance system of extreme reliability with unintended stoppages of less than 0.10%. 90% of stoppages can be solved remotely from Safety and Diagnostics Center within approximately 10 minutes of the fault occurrence. Put in other words, a parking system user would directly experience a 10 minute stoppage approximately every 5 years when using a 120 car park system on a regular basis. It is extremely rare that a catastrophic failure of the entire system occurs for a prolonged period of time.
Personal safety is paramount and the prevention of any damage to vehicles is important to the successful operation of an automated parking system. The Safety and Diagnostics system guarantees maximum safe operations utilizing sensors, encoders, and various devices to detect and correct possible safety and quality issues. Staff at the Safety and Diagnostics Center can review, correct and override any automated system operation or stoppages remotely, i.e. retrieval of a vehicle for a users who lost tickets etc...
